With New Year’s Resolutions in full swing, take time to GET CONNECTED with these upcoming events in the DFW and surrounding areas:

Listen Up!

Cook Children’s Medical Center is hosting it’s quarterly Hearing Loss Support Group: Listen Up! The next meeting will by on Thursday, January 26th @ 6:30pm in Fort Worth, Texas. This group is open to any family affected by hearing differences regardless of communication choice. This meeting’s speaker is a representative from Texas Hands and Voices and will be sharing information on FREE Parent to Parent support for families.  She will also be providing information on classes, camps, and events for Deaf/Hard of hearing children statewide. Moms Matter

Moms Matter is a support groups for mothers of children affected by hearing differences in the greater DFW area. This group meets every other month at LaMadeline Country French Café. The next meeting is on Thursday, February 9th @ 6:30pm in Allen, Texas. No reservations are required. Join the discussion in person at La Madeleine Country French Café, 810 W McDermott Dr, Allen, TX 75013. Brazos River RDSPD Family Night

The Brazos River Regional Day School Program for the Deaf and Parker County Co-op Special Services are hosting a Family Night on Thursday, January 26th @ 6:00pm in Weatherford, Texas. Come learn more about technology and resources for families affected by hearing differences at this informational meeting. This meeting will take place at 612 N. Hearing First: Powering Potential has launched their Online Professional Learning Community.
