Carrie is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, Certified Auditory-Verbal Educator. Her experience spans infancy through high school in both clinical and educational settings. Previous responsibilities have included the following:

  • Communication Specialist for the Dallas Regional Day School Program for the Deaf serving the communication needs of students in both Oral and Total Communication settings.

  • Cochlear Implant Educational Liaison for the Dallas Regional Day School Program for the Deaf providing training and workshops throughout Texas for teachers and therapists serving students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing.

  • Listening and Spoken Language Specialist, Certified Auditory Verbal Educator for Cook Children’s Rehabilitation Services providing family-centered intervention for children with hearing loss who are seeking spoken language outcomes.

  • Carrie has a passion for helping children and families reach their best communication potential. She has expertise in working with children with cochlear implants, hearing aids and BAHAs. She works with families who choose spoken language outcomes and/or sign language outcomes. Her mission is to get people connected to the right resources for their individual needs.
